Mission Details

Before starting the mission, set you throttle to idle and don't move the controls until the introduction has completed. Your DC-3 will be running at idle on the runway, and you don't want it leaving before you are behind the yoke.

All communications will be done automaticly. There will be no other air traffic in the mission area.

Travel to the activated waypoints at 2500 feet and enjoy the view.

This missions will use many visual and audio cues. These visual markers will put you in the proper position for camera shots. All camera shots should happen when you are parked on the ground.

When you near the mission objective, you will be given some arrows to help you line up with the landing point on the road. The curved arrows will help you line up for landing, and the last straight arrow on the ground can be used like a runway reference to land on. It will turn off to give you better view of the ground. Taxi to the green box on the ground at the waypoint and stop in the box.

You do not need to stop exactly within the box, but being within the box will make the camera shots look better.

To turn the DC-3 around quickly, go to full throttle, and as soon as the aircraft moves, throttle back, use full rudder, and brake (joystick trigger) at the same time. This will lock one tire and you will pivot around. It is possible to turn around within the box.
